Publix & CVS, two of my favorite places to shop!

Good evening everyone!

Yesterday I went shopping at two of my favorite places for great deals!

Here is a rundown of what I spent,
what I saved, & how I did it.

(Now I'm not as good as the Two Thrifty Sisters,
but I'm still learning.)

CVS
Spent $15.66, saved $28.18

I went in here for the 12 pack Cokes that they are selling 4 for $13 (with $3 Extra Care Bucks back).
While in there, I noticed they have their Schick Hydro 3 & Hydro 5 Razors at $8.97 (with $4 ECB's back).
That made the razor $4.97...I also had a $5.00 coupon for these razors, from the Sunday paper!
So my razor was free!!

I noticed there was a coupon on the razor for a free can of Schick Shaving Cream.
(it was displayed right there with the razors)
And I had a $1.00 off coupon for the shaving cream & used my $3 ECB's from the Cokes!

So, I got a free razor & shaving cream, I only paid 72 cents (which was the sales tax), getting $4.00 extra care bucks back.

I then used the $4.00 extra care bucks to get another pack of cokes & a pack of gum, paying only 90 cents.

So, in total, I got 5   12 packs of Cokes, 1 pack of gum, a normally $9 razor & normally $4 shave cream, all for a total of $15.66!!  I was really excited!!!

PUBLIX

Spent $55.48 & saved $40.48

I try to only buy the deals at Publix, each week.
(But I do also like their milk, eggs, bread, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish soap, bar soap, and lunch meat.  The Publix name brand is really great!!!)

If you want to see their deals
(they have awesome Buy 1 Get 1 free items each week), go to their site to see the ad.
They change it every Wednesday.

(Just type in your zip code & it will take you to the local ad)

This week they had so many good things half price!
I try to match up my coupons to the items that are B1G1 each week.

Stove Top Easy Skillet Meals - normally $4.99 = $2.49

Tombstone Original Pizzas - normally $5.79 = $2.89

Busye Bodye Naturals - I wouldn't use anything else on my face!!!!

Good evening!

Tonight I want to share with you my LOVE for this wonderful soap that is handmade in Abbotsford, BC, Canada.

I usually use their Trippy Hippy soap,
this time however I bought a bar of their Mintalyptus soap.
Both soaps smell SO GOOD!

Both are good for the skin, but I find the mintalyptus scent to be exhilirating
& it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.

I buy two bars per year, each bar lasts me 6 months.

The shipping is a tiny bit pricey, but totally worth it for this FANTASTIC soap!
They also send me free samples of their other scents with each order!
NICE HUH?  :)

Welcome to Renaissance & Rainbows!

I have been following many blogs lately.  Fashion blogs, freebie blogs & money saving blogs.
I must say I've been enjoying every minute of it!

There are some great things to be had for very low prices, if not for free!

Today a friend of mine thanked me for giving her a "heads up" about a cool clothing site that I recommended through facebook.
That sparked the idea in my mind to create a blog that will do just that,
pass along info that I think others will enjoy!

This blog will tie together all of my interests in fashion, coupons, deals, & freebies!

Most everything will be something I've tried myself,
so I will do my best to only put things on here that are worth going after.

Thank you for reading & have a lovely day!!!!
